NSW Health confirms another coronavirus death, state’s total fatalities now six

Health authorities in NSW have confirmed another death from coronavirus, bringing the state’s total COVID-19 fatalities to six.

NSW Health said an 81-year-old woman with the virus died last night.

She had close contact with another confirmed case of COVID-19 at Ryde Hospital.

There have been 46 new coronavirus infections in NSW in the past day, taking the state’s total number of cases to 353.

More than 40,000 people have been tested in NSW since the outbreak began.
